Most or all of us can agree that the past several years have definitely challenged each of us in unique and sometimes drastic ways.  We faced new and familiar life challenges in different frequencies, intensities and durations.  At its core we really had only a few choices:  fight, flight, freeze, and/or face.  We each created who we are now by the choices we made and continue to make.  While that may seem pretty obvious to some, it has become quite focused over the past few years for the rest of us.  Each of us has one or more stories of what our lives were like-BC (Before Covid) and how they are now-AD (After Delta).  It’s fascinating to realize that an invisible virus molecule demonstrated how connected we really are.  A virus that emerged in one part of the world eventually made it to all parts of the world through the molecules of the air that we all breathe.

Let’s consider writing a new chapter to our story….

Just for a moment, consciously breathe.  Become aware of those molecules traveling in and out without you even seeing them.  As you do, set the intention that those molecules carry the love virus.  As you inhale, you breathe in love.  As you exhale, you breathe out love.  Know deeply within your heart that your power of intention is real and is most often experienced when speaking.  Of course, that’s obvious too.  It’s the reason you might say, “Bless you” when someone sneezes.  Your words express your intentions.  Consider that if a virus can reach all parts of the earth, so can the love we breathe into life through the power of intention.  May the simple phrase, “Love in, Love out” remind you throughout your day to consciously breathe so that we always remember how connected we really are and if a microscopic infectious agent can be carried on our breath, perhaps we can create a contagious virus of love that reaches to all parts of the world.

To each of you on this day that we often associate with love, may you intend love with every breath you take and may you receive the love we are sending your way with every breath we take.
